High School - grades 9-12

At Valley Christian School, we strive to align our offerings with our mission. We offer core classes and a diverse selection of extracurricular activities that will teach students how to strive for excellence while preparing them for a lifetime of authentic faithfulness and service to Jesus Christ. A solid foundation is essential for building a strong educational and spiritual future.

Accreditation

We are accredited through the Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), and Cognia. All of our high school teachers are accredited and ACSI certified.

Academics

We offer the following academic opportunities in High School: Bible, English, math, history, science, health, and physical education. There are two available educational tracks for graduation. Core Track, which includes core classes as well as elective offerings (26 credits), and Honors Track, which includes core classes as well as elective offerings (28 credits). Our guidance counselor is available to work with parents and students to determine which track works best for them.

Extracurricular/Electives

All VCS students have the opportunity to participate in class performances, concerts, field trips, community service projects, and more. In High School, we also offer the following electives: art, automotive, choir, culinary arts, worship team, National Honors Society, photography, student leadership, woodworking, welding, and yearbook.

Athletics

VCS is a member of the Montana High School Association (MHA) which allows for the highest level of competition in the state. We are a member of District 13/14-C, which is part of the Western C Division. We offer the following athletic opportunities to students in High School: football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and track.

Special Services

As a non-profit organization, we do not receive state or federal funding for special services. A formal consultation with a principal as well as pre-enrollment testing is required to determine if VCS is the best option for a student and the school. Partnering with families who choose to pay for self-provided outside services will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
