2008-09 TUITION & FEES SCHEDULE
1. Registration Fees: Grades K-5 - $75.00 Grades 6-12- $100.00 Registration fees are required of all students including staff students and must be paid before the admissions process begins and is payable each year.
2. 3. Pre-school Tuition: $1,440.00 for the year or $160/month. Kindergarten Tuition: $2,000.00, regardless of multiple members from one family.
4. Junior High Fee (grades 7&8): A $250.00 junior high fee will be added to each family's tuition for each student in those grades, including staff children. This fee is not pro-rated for late entries or for early exits.
5. High School Fee: A $450.00 high school fee will be added to each family's tuition for each high school student, including staff children. This fee is not pro-rated for late entries or for early exits.
6. Returning Families: Returning students in 1-12 only will be granted a credit of $100.00 per student if the following requirements are met: a.) tuition accounts are current as of June 20th, b.) registration for the coming year has been paid by June 15th, and c.) parents have attended the Spring Faith Challenge Celebration. There is no tuition credit for new students, i.e. students who did not attend VCS the preceding year.
7. Tuition Payment Plans: All family tuition must be paid one of two ways: a. Plan 1: payment in full by August 1 or by the first day of school for those who enter school after the school year has begun, or b. Plan 2: monthly payments made via F.A.C.T.S. automated bank withdrawal program. Parents may choose to have an automated bank withdrawal made on either the 5th or the 20th of the month. These payments may begin in July and end in June the following year. 8. Refunds: Tuition is pro-rated by the month (no partial month refunds) and will be refunded on that same basis upon early withdrawal with the following exception: no tuition will be refunded if withdrawal takes place after March 31st. Also, there is no refund of registration fees nor of junior high or high school fees for early withdrawal no matter when it might occur. All but $25.00 of the registration fee is returned if an applicant is not admitted. If an applicant is admitted and than withdrawn, there is no registration fee fund. Large tuition refunds will be made in monthly increments not to exceed $500.00 at a time.
Remember these facts about contributions to Valley Christian:
-Valley Christian is truly a Faith Mission. In practice that means that all our teachers, administrators and families trust the Lord to meet our financial needs.
-Don’t wait until you can give hundreds of dollars. We have plenty of promises from people who are planning to win the lottery! Be faithful now with the $10 or $20 God has told you to give. Put us in your monthly giving budget. We depend on the regular, monthly giving of God’s people.
-Everyone should give something. Your children are being taught the Word here each day. That is our first priority. Paul tells us that: “Anyone who receives instruction in the Word must share all good things with his instructor.” (Gal. 6:6).
-Maybe you cannot give much while your children are in school. As long as you are obedient to the Lord He will bring others to us who can make up the difference. Then, once your children have graduated, you will be able to do the same for others who have their children here and are struggling with tuition. Don’t forget! During the time you are unable to give much, your responsibility is to pray diligently that God will bring to us those who can give much, that He will bless them and prosper them so that they can give even more.
